Ski Trip

Yeah, it's the only thing I can think of right now o.o Well, I SHOULD be doing some random math homework, but I'm quite brain-dead at the moment, so I thought writing in my blog would help (Hopefully it does).

So as you know, or so I hope you do, this post is about my ski trip last week. I seriously wanna go again, cause it was AWESOME! First of all, even though anyone could go, about 1/4 of the school didn't go, so less people to crash into (Yes, I did wipe out). At that certain ski resort, they graded you by stickers, yellow, blue and red. Yellow meant you weren't that great at skiing and needed practise. Blue was for people who had taken a turning test and it allowed them to go on most hills. Red was for extremely skilled skiers/ snowboarders and that let them go down any hill.

I signed up as intermediate, which means I get tested then get to go ride most of the hills, but I wanted to go take classes, since I have a bad memory and can't quite remember how to o.o So it was quite easy, and I happened to be one of the top in my class, since it all came back quite fast o.o Our instructor took me and another girl in my class to go ride with her, since she thought we were good enough to skip the test (required for a blue sticker). It was fairly easy, since you only had to go behind the instructor. I got my blue earlier than most beginners, so I had extra time to ride down most hills. After about an hour, I went in for lunch.

Luckily, I met up with some friends inside the cafeteria, so we decided to go together after we were all done eating (It's pretty hard finding your friends after you lose them somewhere o.o). We went most of the courses, except for the Black Diamond and Double Black Diamond ones, since you needed a red sticker and you'd wipe out in about, oh, I dunno, 5 seconds? We kinda split up after, since some other friends needed to know how to turn, so I had to help. It took quite a while since they were always thinking they were going to fall, and never wanted to go down the harder hills. What also annoyed me was that they didn't know how to STOP, which is an essential if you're gonna go down harder hills. So, them being inexperienced and not confident, kept skiing right into me, which is why I wipe out to much -.-

Skipping on ahead, I met with my friends from before and we kinda snuck onto this one course called Bomber, which scared the crap (mind my language) outta me, since it was pretty much an extremely steep hill all the way down. I survived, though my other friends kinda crashed into each other o.o

Another highlight of the day was watching other people ski. Of course, it's not nice that me and my friends are teasing other people who can't quite ski properly, but why should they be skiing down such hard courses if they know they're gonna wipe out? So while I was riding up the lift with some friends, this one girl in my class (I dunno how she got her blue sticker o.o) is accelerating extremely fast, and doesn't turn to slow herself down. At the bottom of the hill are a bunch of snowboarders from another school. Now, they don't realize that she's screaming to move out of the way. Well, I think you know what comes next: She runs right into them, knocking all of them over like bowling pins. I just couldn't stop laughing! It was SO funny! If only you were there to see it...

Anyways, the rest isn't really worth mentioning, so I'll just put a stop at it here. That's pretty much it, so until next time!
